Love yourself more

 

then you'd feel less burdened when you take care of yourself first.

The interesting thing is that, when you do that, others seem more agreeable.

If since you were a child, you had been told to take care of others first, standing up for yourself can be frightening.  To overcome this, recognize that taking care of yourself is your first obligation when the Creator placed you on this earth.

(When you blame your boss, you are shifting the burden onto him.  As a result, he is less likely to be helpful.  Don't think he doesn't know; he knows.  How is he going to explain to his boss?)
