这个问题和其他同类问题比如“请告诉我你以前碰到的难题,你是怎么解决的?”是同一类判断candidate的解决问题能力的问题。问的人是想知道候选人的分析解决问题的能力以及过去的经验。回答这种问题通常会给A,B,C不同的评分。A. Candidate 可以马上举例译细表述一个难题来龙去脉,解决方案impressive, 并给出为什么选择这个解决方案。面试官这时心里也是在衡量如果这个问题他自己来解决,可能还没candidate做得更好。B。candidate presented a simple problem, and have a so so solution, not impressive, but when dig deeper, you can see that work is reaaly what the candidate did before. C. Donot know what to say, or say a lot of non-sense stuff. 面试官可能得出结论这个人涉世末深,经验不足,或不够smart。
So the moral of the story is when going for an interview, you need to prepare at least 2 to 3 such situation/problem stories happened in your past work experience to support your resume.
