我的感觉是老外不会这样。你应该说，unfortunately, I don't agree with you, the Project A you presented last week, who did it？ I did it. I understand, you would like me to be your star and you want to push me. I appreciate it, but I would prefer you be more positive. Plus, I just come to this company 4 months, I don't have a plan to do anything brilliant.My plan is xxxxxx 你要半开玩笑的说呀。

我曾经就这样回答了老板，老板接下来就说，I like what you said xxxx,

怕让老板不高兴没得用，你应该告诉老板，I want to work here happily, happier employees are more productive, let's work it out together.

你的工作环境也许和我的不一样，也许不能这样。我这样做了，效果很好。
