1. I basically know what the job descrition will be. and it is part of my current responsibility anyway. So it does not make sense to "create" a new position. They can simply not lay me off based on that responsibility of mine. So it sounds fake.
2. The HR issue is there for quite a while. I have talked with my supervier on several occasions that I was passed for many development opportunities in this group. Some of those were created by myself and given to others when they become big or on critical path. Most recently was a couple of weeks ago about unequal treatment. I was not making complaints at all, but to get a good idea what I can do or improve to make them give me a good growth opportunity. But it obviously caught the attention of all the sr managers. So I know it has become an HR issue. I think I have enough to file a formal complaint to HR and they probably know about it. It will not change anything since HR is always on management side, but will certainly become an issue for them too.
