I was struggling badly for the first few month, worked really hard. A year later, I still not fully understand the whole project. All I did is supporting the customer, developing new functionality my customer request, maintain the system.......... Not much, really. I did know a lot now, but I think the one thing I did the best is: meet my customers need. I communicate with them a lot ( I have to learn the business from them). Whatever they need me to help, I did whatever I can to make them happy. My boss doesn't know anything about what I am doing technically, but he told me that he doesn't need to know. He trust me. The result is: my customer are very satisfied with me, they praise me loudly to the top level, at staff meeting.........
Now, my boss is sending me to a very expensive Advance training. One day, he asked me if I can get better pay, higher position, will I leave? He worries about me since everyone loves me here......
I guess I did something right here even I am still not expert on this tech. Anyway, after the training, I will be advance, soon will be expert.......
Do not feel bad. Best wishes for your new job. You can start over again now.
