Department of Computer Science: Full-Time, Non-Tenure-Track Position
The Department of Computer Science, College of Arts and Sciences, Loyola University Chicago, is seeking applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track position in Computer Science commencing immediately. The position is for a temporary 1-year appointment. The Computer Science Department has 7 tenured faculty members and 3 joint appointees with the Departments of Mathematics and Biology. We especially encourage candidates in the areas of Software Development, Software Architectures, Embedded and Real Time Systems, Software Engineering, Computer and Network Security, Integrated Networking, and High Performance Computing.
Requirements for the position include a Ph.D. in Computer Science or closely related field and past teaching experience at the university level. Beginning in fall 2009, the appointee is expected to teach courses at the Bachelor’s and Master’s levels.
