Just ignore the negative feedback and pretend happy. Meanwhile, your hu*****and should setup 1-1 with his big boss weekly. He also need setup 1-1 with his immediate supervisor weekly.
But your hu*****and need be prepared of laying off. Lots of places are hiring new people and laying off them in 6-12 months. Especially in those so called Fortune 500 company or famous university. If this ever happens to you, don't take it personally. It happens everywhere and to everybody. I knew some Americans had the same experienc.
