Lucky you. Nice place to be in July. You would need to rent a car to get around. Drive to Jasper. It is a beautiful road. Columbia Glacier is half way between Banff and Jasper. Take the Snow Coach ride. Lot's of mountains, lakes, and wild animals to see on the way.
P.S. food there is pretty good, both Banff and Jasper has not too bad Chinese restaurants, and Calgary has a small China town.
