Today is Valentine’s Day. My husband is in Toronto, and I am here at home. Naturally we did not do anything for Valentine’s Day, and we even did not exchange “Happy Valentine’s Day” when he called me tonight.

It is pretty sad. I recall that we used to go out for dinner on the Valentine’s Day.When we were not together, he mail-ordered flowers for me. Now we just spend the Valentine’s Day like any other day. It is certainly not a good sign.

I had a conversation with Carla today. She said her husband would take her out for dinner today, and she said it is nice to do something as a couple once for a while. It is so true, and we do need to do something special once for a while to make the relationship sparkle a little bit and keep things going. 

So from now on, I will try to do small things that would help renew our relationship.
