--The Korean owner of the restaurant i use to work loved ABBA, and Billy Joel, and John Lennon. Kind of a strange combination. "Fernando" was my favorite from ABBA.
I remember those days, i would listen to the songs until i can memorize all of them. Even now when any of the songs pop up, i would be reminded the days i work there.... Staring at the lawn cross the street, I imagine that i would have a free Sunday to walk around the street, with nothing to do... That would be a luxury back then.
I liked one boy who always come in to eat. His name was Adam. The reason i liked him was because the way he moves. He has long arms, long pale fingers. He would stretch his arm out first, then put on the sleeve of his jacket. I am sure he is a heartbreaker.
The reason a woman would fall in love with a man usually will be strange. Just like how Zwig wrote in his novel " 24 hours in a woman's life". She loved a man because how he moved his hands. Adam has elegant movement, that's why i liked him.
I also remembered a handsome ABC boy named David. He always like to talk to me. He was so lovely, once trying to show me his well-exercised body. I can smell the sunshine on him.
To like somebody in those days would lead to nothing in the end, because i was waiting for him. But it made the lonely days easier. We joked around, laughed, cried, all of us waitress/student girls. Think back, those were fun days.
