The famous " Going-to-the -sun road " was partially closed because of wild fire.  Saw a huge male moose when hiking near the Sun Point.  Also experienced THIS WINTER'S first snow on Aug  27th. It was 32 F at Logan Pass next day and all the surrounding peaks were covered by snow.

Alpine lakes, wildflower meadows and misty valleys  surrounded by soaring cliffs, rugged mountains, deep forest and snow capped peaks. The view in every direction at Glacier National Park is really breathtaking !
