   这是我喜爱的爱尔兰女歌手恩雅（Enya）唱过的一首歌。 歌词在十九世纪刚出现的时候，是一首赞美诗，赞美信仰给人内心的力量和安宁。在1950年代时有人加了最后面的两段歌词，使它更与尘世贴近，表现一种坚忍和患难与共的精神并广为流传。原来一首歌（词）的寿命可以有这么长，一百多年来人们由于喜爱把新的词不断地加进去。恩雅以她纯净的嗓音唱的这首歌好似天籁之音， 她是全球最受欢迎的”新世纪”音乐艺人和凯尔特（Celts, 早期在爱尔兰，苏格兰地区的居民）音乐歌手。
