looking closer at the okc games

only 3 games lin played for 30+ minutes, and all others were below 25. So those games really do not say as much as they appear to. of the 3 30+ minute games, lin had one 29+7 game. so i don't see these games as convincing evidence for lin's demotion. beverly played enough atrocious games, including the past two against grizzlies, but unlike lin, his poor showing never seemed to affect his playing time.
true, lin could be better, which is why he needs development. but it appears that certain people look for every reason to put him on the bench no matter how hard or how well he plays, while searching for every bit of reason to start beverley. it feels like lin's bad games carry 10 times the weight over his good games, while the reverse is true for beverley.
