其实不能全怪现在的大学生，一上大学就不努力。我看大部分人都已经burn out。

I've never seen any Chinese educators mentioning about burn out and its davasting impact on young people. In US burn out is one of the reason for adults to have job performance issues on the job: lost interest on everything, low productivity, high job turn around  etc. The main reason for burn out is high presure on the and over work! Many Europe countries have mandatory vacation policies in order to prevent burn out. 

Those poor Chinese kids have to work very hard since kindergarden. That is at least 12 years by the time they get to college. The presure they are under is biggest anyone can imagine: a struggle for survial. For most kids, I can imagine how they feel after getting into college: they finally get a break in life and can breath a litter easier. 

I think that kind of ultimate burn out will take years for them to recover from.
