The money US gov invested in the health system is huge.

Each resident needs 100k funding, 20000 resident each year x 3 years and more. And that is only a drop in the ocean.  A hospital bed would cost 100k and the trend now is all private rooms. The standard is so high that nobody else in the whole world could even come close.  Behind it is trillions of investment. This is truly a Gov for the people.
