感恩节前夜，我的车被追尾

今天真是一个神奇的日子。

下班时正值往日的高峰时间，路上却没有往日的拥挤和堵车，心里感叹不愧是要过节了，交通都变得那么通畅。刚右转弯上到另一条主路上，就看到两辆闪着灯的警车停在center lane上，马上意识到出车祸了。专心于开车也无暇关心出了什么情况，前方红灯，刚刚停稳了自己的车，就听后边砰一声，随后我也被震得身体前后摇摆，马上意识到被追尾了。说起来虽然咱也是在美国开车20多年的“老司机”了，但这还是第一次在马路上出事故，顿时有些不知所措，但我知道这是后方司机的全责。下了车查看情况，看到后边车的司机是个半大小子，也就不奇怪了。刚把撞掉的towing part的cover捡起来，就看到police officer 从刚停下的警车里朝我们一溜小跑过来，边跑边告诉我们把车挪到路边去，随后警官告诉我把驾照，车的注册证明还有保险单准备好就在车里等他来取。一边等一边还是觉得惊魂未定，警官来取资料时告诉我他大概要15分钟做paper work，并嘱咐我就在车里等他回来。我这时心l里说不出是个什么滋味，被惊吓到还夹杂着一些焦虑。

正在等着的时候，就看到又有一辆闪着警灯的车从我左边的路上开过停在了前方不远处的路上，哈哈，又一起车祸，三起车祸都发生在这半个英里之内。然后就看到另一位警官前前后后地忙活，三起车祸在一起，是够忙的。

警官做好了paper work，分别向我和后边的肇事司机要了电话号码，又分别给我和那孩子的爸爸稍微解释了一下paper work，就告诉我们这里就处理完了。我感谢了警官后随口又道了一句“感恩节快乐”，结果一群人听得一愣，然后不约而同地大笑起来。估计办案这么多年，头一次见我这样没心没肺的主吧。

等到我后来离开时，才看到前方路肩上停了6，7辆车，其中几辆都是被追尾的，这是第三起车祸中受影响的车辆。今天什么日子，我开了这么多年车，第一次遇到在半个小时内，半个英里之内，这么多追尾事故。也顾不上感叹了，赶紧逃离了这个不吉利的地方。

2020，连这个感恩节都这么不同。
