工会造成了制造业流失
Funny how they're interviewing a Union rep when they are EXACTLY the problem Erie had in keeping industry there. When I lived there, I remember people who "worked" at some factories, openly bragging about sleeping for hours on the job, or clocking in then leave the facility to go do some side jobs like snow plowing, only to return at the end of the day and have a union steward ask them if they wanted overtime. This was rampant at Hammermill Paper, and once Hammermill had finally had enough and moved, the ex-employees wanted the rest of us to boycott Hammermill products for ending their gravy train. Local government means much more to the local economy than the federal gov't and who the current president is. Yet Erie people keep voting the same Democrat dolts into office and expect different results. I can't stop laughing. Good riddance.?
