俺属于万金油型的，对什么都没有特别的兴趣，更不要说投入。人穷，不敢说收藏，顶多是看到自己喜欢的便宜货，捞一把。
前不久，看到一套1916年出版的丛书，毫不迟疑地搬回家。书名是 Little Journeys to the Homes of the Great，作者是 Elbert Hubbard。
1916年到现在，超过100年了。能拥有几本100年前的书，俺内心还是挺欢喜的。

全套是14卷，俺这次收集到的只有10卷，少了卷 I, VII, X, XIII。卷13 （XIII) 是讲great lovers，其中包括Dante （但丁） and Beatrice，Balzac （巴尔扎克）and Madame Hanska，我想我以后会重点找找。
书是纪念版， Memorial Edition，皮面，浮雕式封面设计，而且是彩色，书页顶端镀金，里面有红条书签，可见当年出版社对这套书的重视。
