White House REJECTS Clinton and Harry Reid attack on FBI's Comey saying he is man of 'integrity' and is NOT trying to influence election

• White House stood by FBI Director James Comey on Monday as a man of 'integrity' and 'principle' 
• Press Secretary Josh Earnest would not 'defend or criticize' the letter Comey sent to Congress on Friday
• But he said the president does not the law enforcement official is looking to 'intentionally influence the outcome' of the presidential election
• Hillary Clinton and Senate Democratic leader Harry Reid are claiming that he is; Reid says he may have broken the law
• Earnest was careful not to chastise Comey while implying that the building disagreed with the move that created panic within the president's party
