Nothing special

When she was less than one year old and couldn't walk, she played in her playpen.
Now she runs around the house and play by herself or we play blocks together.
Watched Baby Einstein before, now we watch Sesame street and Barney for entertainment.
Happily spend our time together with small changes and make progress little by little.
Mommy and daughter never feel tired of each other's presence, even though it's quite the same
everyday, with or without daddy at home.

Oh, we just came back from the oceanfront.
Glad baby is growing up brave and strong.
She ran towards the big tide by herself, like there's no fear at all.
I think it has paid off to have mommy at home with her,
with all the care given and freedom played out.
My child can explore whatever she wants to in the house. I seldom intervene. 
Not baby proofed even, only trust and care.
