I think she left light because she likes #5 man. She lied about something was wrong, she suppose to turn off the light etc. I am sure of that. she is new and she is a little shy about what if the guy turned her down. So she made up little excuses but then firmly determine that she wants to go with #5. Unfortunately #5 is dumb that he didnt choose her.
