Baseball is the least predictable sports. So many random stuff would affect or totally change the outcome. The funny thing is that most of those things have little to do with the skills. Its meaningless to talk who should win, who should not. You never know what gonna happen in a single game. There are 2 ways to argue who or which team is better. One is to look over the long run, that's why baseball relies on stat so much. Over the long run, random stuff are kindly filtered out, stat reflect your true ability in certain way. another's to say who is hot right now. But in an opposite way. For example, when you hear experts say whoever is on fire for last x games, then very likely he ' d come back to earth fairly soon, like the rays. Why? You know coming back from 0:7 is such a small probability thing, it simply can not happen all the time. The other side is true too, guy struggled so long probably due for a bounce back, like aj just did.
