that's pretty expensive

My company's insurance plan is not that great, but it covers pretty much everything for pregnancy. My only out of pocket expense was a couple of hundred dollars for the blood screening as part of the Down Syndrome test. The doctor said upfront it was "elective" but I chose to take it any way to avoid having the amnio (which would have been covered by insurance).
