请问大师

我是古狗的电邮用户，就是gmail，我的电脑是IE8浏览器。古狗总是告诉我要换成Crome啥的，不知道那是个什么玩意，我不敢随便换。问问大师们，有没有好处，为何要换它。

简单介绍一下各自的长处和短处。
