1. Plushenko had spotty performance last night, but he should get the gold. Lysacek had a boring performance. If his triples were nice, I am OK for him to grab the gold. He's just not there to compare those Olympic gold medalist. Every gold medalist before him is a legend, but not him.
2. I like Jonny Weir's performance. OK, he's not a gold medal contender, but he should not finished up at 6th.
3. Patrick Chan, despite he's a Chinese (OK, I know he is a Canadian), I am not so impressed by his performance. The only thing he impressed me is he goy a big mouth. He should skate well first, and let other people do the talk. I do not even see his future. He made one mistake after another one last night. Given him some time, he may reduce those mistakes in next Olympics, but still, he is not good enough for me to give him a "wow".
4. There is one kid that I see the future, Dennis Ten. I think he will shine in coming years. He has those things, that can't be trained through hard work. He had a good flow of his performance, his jumps were high, and he's only 16 years old. I
