39 weeks vs. 40 weeks is exacctly my concern

thank you. I will call the doctor and see if we can reschedule it to 40 weeks. I don't mind being induced, but I am worried that my body would not be quite as ready for birth as the first time around, causing complications, discomfort, or god forbid, any harm to the baby. The first time was vaginal birth and it took a grand total of 6 hours from when I got to the hospital to the baby being born.
