回复：父母申请绿卡，485ref, 无犯罪记录的证明

他们之前一直居住在中国北京，目前已经委托国内家人在当地公安局派出所开具了无犯罪记录的证明，并且拿到北京公证处进行了公证，但是公证处没有将公安局派出所的证明复印件附在公证书中，而是直接公证说本人没有在中国的犯罪记录。

公证员说公证书格式都有司法部门的统一规定，不能将派出所的证明影印，翻译，公证。这样的格式是不是正确呢？

不会交到美国移民局，说公证书不符合要求吧.

-Just provide that photocopy of the 公证书, and also go to your local police deaprtment (normally inside your city courthouse or somewhere) to get the "certificate of police clearance". Then, send the photocopies for the RFE.

到底什么是certificate of police clearance, 要不要派出所原件？

-No. Your parents will be interviewed later and then, they can provide the original one (原件) during the interview.
