入籍申请 N-400 stuck , any experience any good ideas to deal with?

I applied N-400 about a year ago.  The online case status shows 'additional evidence requested (about the time I just applied)'.   Got the finger print notice, first one lost, second one lost, third one got it done about two months ago.  Now I am waiting for the next step and it seems taking forever ...   any one has experience?  is there anything I can do to speed it up a little bit?    Is it stuck somewhere?   I called them and all they had to say was ask me to wait patiently.
