how long to get passport back after interviewing for B-2 visa ?

Hi, anyone's parent just got B-2 visa from Beijing? how long did your parents wait to get their passport (with visa) back after interview? the tickets can be booked a week ahead so I am hoping to know the timing to get the tickets booked. thanks for sharing info!!
