This is bound to happen---There is no money! USATT

members pay annual fees, but there are only a few k members. The members also pay a lot to play tournaments, another way of contributing to USATT. The tournament fees have become more and more expensive (the annual Baltimore event costs a player a few hundreds bucks), which discourages players to play.

US Olympic Committee (USOC) also gives some funds to USATT. But since Ping Pang does not bring medals in the Olympics, USATT is not competitive in getting funds from USOC.

This is a 恶性循环。
