This whole article raised no evidence there were wide-spread of murdering/raping of civilians.
The main stream history books by US (remember, about 1/3 of US populations are in South) never mentioned wide spread of murder/rape.
Yes, Sherman's march destroyed property.
Yes, there must be sporadic murder, rapes.
But, no, there is no organized murder/rape.
The US military did not do it, they ASSUMED other countries military will not do that so they surrendered at the beginning of the WWII to Japan's millitary machine.
