回复：紧急求教各位大侠:h1b renewal approved but extension denied

看到网上有人有类似的经历。
H1b　年底到期，８月份就递了renew的材料。拿到结果，说是approve乐，可是，说我不能被extend the status, 因为移民局的官员把我的I 94　日期弄错，说我现在是非法拘留（我的h1b年底才到期的！回去看我的I94表，上面的日子确实弄成了我上起回国三个月签证到期的日子）。我被告知要去多伦多的领事馆申请签证。为保险，我还真去预约，没想到多伦多根本就约不上。
-If your I-94 has expired for > 180 days or > one year, you can not go out of U.S. Otherwise, you will be bannded to enter U.S. within 3 years or 10 years.
If so, you may go to CBP to see whether they can fix the I-94 for you first before you go out of US to get the H1 visa.
