It seems that yiu need more learning curves for your job

You really surprised me that being a project manager, you did not communicate with your team/boss on every chain of the project. All the communication works should be main part of your job description. Doing MS timeline chart will show clearly which chain is in jeopardy and you should know why and when /how to sove the issue. All these should be fed back to your boss and the related indivisual's department/boss.
Now your boss pulled head the launch deadline without consulting you first, this is not a good sign. And you should talk to him immediately after you found out.
Brother, you really need to put your feet down and learn how to be an active program manager. To be honest, your motivation needs to be improved. Automotive is such a tough industry now, only the self-motivated and people person can survive long term.
