H1B延期申请-Please help!!!!

我的H1B明年1月就要到期(3年)什么时候开始提出H1B延期申请?怎么办啊?是否需要
通过律师办理?收费是多少?我们的485已递交(去年7月)，排期遥遥，是否需启动EAD卡? 多谢回答!
