How to let the boss give me the project

I am female with 10 years experience. Even I know more than others, but I found the boss just use me as library, but really let others responsible for the project. If I refuse to contribute my knowledge or refuse to do little things for others, then the things become worse, I have nothing to do and I feel I will be fired.

How I could change this?
