Houses in the UK are a lot smaller than American ones. we have a two bed house, the floor area is 80m2. You probably would take a while to get use to it.

The rent for a two bed property is £650 to £750. Minimum contract is a year, you have to pay one and half months rent as deposit, and a month rent up front.

Council tax is £100 to £120

Gas and electricity is £40 to £55 per month.

If the property has a water meter, it is about £150 per year; if it doesn't, you have to pay more.

I don't think so. The nearest one is in Oxford city centre, it is the size of a corner shop. If you really have a family here, it is worth the trip to go to the cash-and-carry in Reading, it is about 50miles south of Ayle*****ury, that is the closest Chinese supermarket to you. If you need the address, give me a shout.

Ayle*****ury is a market town, a few shops in town centre, a quiet place.It will be very different from the place you come from.
