Actually, Yao did bad-mouthed JVG some after the change.

Now, when the going gets tough, he starts to miss JVG. I always think Yao needs a strict and micro-managing coach. RA's hands-off style doesn't really fit him. But, he'll get by, if he's willing to explore more options and enjoy more freedoms. If he shoots a three, RA would never gets into his face, at least.
