.8 second left with a timeout left, they still had the time to catch the ball and call for timeout. Remember that Fisher .4 second shot? Sure it's rare, but similarily .8 second or .6 second made 3 pointers were rare too. If he missed but the opponent makes it, are you guys going to call them low IQ again?

Of course they know the options, the safest way in that situation is to make both, but at least one made FT put them 3 points on top. Bearing a miracle shot from Pistons, they just go to overtime on the homecourt, while Wallace had 5 fouls. If they are up only one, it's totally different story.

Remember that Lakers game, when Yao sank the first, hit the front rim and bounce back to himself perfectly for a quick rebound and sent it to Rafer for a miracle 3? It didn't go in, but the strategy was PERFECT, and it was called by Yao himself. Do you think he didn't know that he could miss?

Either option A or B, no absolute right or wrong. When they win with one option, that option is NOT WRONG.
