most of time no. if your company lawyer is very mean and force you to use ead after you/spouse use ap, then you lose h1/h4

I’ve heard that H1 visa holder my have to stay in USA for more than 180 days each year. Otherwise, the 485 application may be denied. IS it true and will it be the same for H4 visa holder?
no. she can stay back in china as long as she wanted. she can always get h4 stamping if your green card is pending. it's better for her to have a valid ap in case you get your 485 approved suddenly
