How to give review comments in meeting

When we attend review meeting, what is the right way to give comments if you find there is some error in other people's document?
Somebody said you can't directly say where where is wrong, you could only ask question to let the author himself realize the mistake.

Sometimes I saw people is very rude, at that time, should we fight back in the meeting? The culture of the company is not that good, and my English is not that good, don't want fight as a lady.
