smartest, if not the smartest person in the world. Even though at beginning he may respect his boss, later he will find actually his boss is not as smart as him. That is y some people lost their respect to their boss. Just remember that a person to be a boss must have done something really good to get that position. If you cannot work for a "stupid" boss, you cannot work for any boss in the world, unless you believe you are not smart.
