I just visited Salt Lake City and stayed there for a month. The weather is better than where I am now in South Dakota. It has a lot of mountains and good place for snow sports. It's pretty safe there. But drivers are more aggresive than those in SD. House cost is about average. The family I stayed with bought a nice house with big backyard for $160000 in 2002 and now its value is in the $200000.
