The problem with me is I am not sure if I want to give up my DBA career. So far I don't know any Chines PM. If I become PM now, it will be hard to get back to DBA again later. I like to be a PM, but not sure if I will be a good PM. Not as cconfidency as in technical filed. After all, it is not that easy to be a good PM. In my projects for the last three years. I worked with about 10 PMs. Some are good, some are bad. Only one PM is very good. Our project is with client. It is not that easy to have a good relationship with client's PM. One PM got kick out of the project.....Those client's resource never get job done on time, ......
Somehow project manager is very diff. from techinical job. Anyone can share their experience?
