In 2001 during our Canadian Rockies trip, we made a detour on our drive back (to Vancouver) to Edmonton to visit them. Since we had to kill a few hours before her son got off work, we went to the Mall. Interestingly, my relatives hardly go there, even in winter. They said the novelty worn off long ago.
