I think that the penalty box should be re-designed. Your analysis sounds reasonable. So i think that the penalty box should be re-drawn as oval shape instead of the current rectangular shape and smaller. I have seen tons of players carry the soccer ball to the lower corner of the penalty box and wait for the opponent to tackle them to cheat PK's. Soccer rules are really out of dated.
