That is not what they are concerned. In their life, making ends to meet is main thing and most of them just barely did it. There is no security for most of them, given things change so fast.

People are simply not happy there, especially in the countryside. If people are constantly worried about things like housing, children's schooling, medication and taking care of elders and see no clear way to achieve these very basic social needs, people really do not care about those things you mentioned in your post.
