why this film was made by an american but a chinese?

sometimes, I just feel ashamed. The rape of Nanjin is a dark page in Chinese history. Why didn't we stand up and tell the world the truth. Why the film was not made from a Chinese? Why an American born chinese (张纯如) wrote the book about the rape of Najin instead of a native chinese? Do we hate japanese atrocities in WWII? sure we do. Do we stand up for ourselves? No we don't, since we used the blood of 300K Najin civilians to trade the money borrowed from Japan.

No wonder Japanese don't apologize for this piece of history since we are not serious about it, either.
