Soviet Union was one of the 2 SUPERPOWER at the time for a good reason. It was also the HEAD of COMMUNIST IDEOLOGY as well. So of course, it had great influence over other Communist countries at the time. It is the MOST LOGICAL reasoning after compiling many information about that time. Do you have any contrary evidence that this was not so?
