Yes, you are right. I'm in CA. You are a detail oriented person, good for PR. There are a lot of consulting companies in Washington DC delicated to PR, but also a lot of politics/networking involved.

Anyway, I think probably you should look for positions like planning coordinator, HR, resources management, or even logistics. Try to look into these directions to see if there is any fit for you. Then you figure out what to do next. Good Luck.
