trying to model in robotics using integro-differential equation. There could be lots of interests in robotics, but in what? The end effects? The trajectory? Or optimal path? So, what is your specific topic?

Robotics has been used a lot in manufacturing. Most likely, people will need to program the robot to serve the demands using PLC. It'd be better if you have some background in manufactrung and kinematics. I think you can get your answer directly from your advisor, he/she should know better if your research can be used in the industry or not.
